Course Overview

This course is designed for Care and Support staff in various settings, including Housing Support Teams providing direct care and support. It is tailored for those who work with Adults at Risk, whether through face-to-face interactions, virtual settings, or phone communications. 


The course addresses the various risks of abuse and harm that may present differently for each person being supported, focusing on how to identify potential risks and implement measures to minimise them.


This course aligns with current occupational standards, qualification frameworks, and the following key documents:


  • The Care Act 2014
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006
